Homemade Basil Pesto

Why buy Pesto when you can make your own? And this tastes SO much better! Use this for pretty much anything: Pizza, Dip, Marinade, etc. Recipe below. TRY. SHARE. REPEAT.

PESTO(Found on Food Network)

2 c. packed fresh basil leaves
2 cloves garlic
2/3 c. extra-virgin olive oil
black pepper, to taste
1/2 c. mozzarella cheese

1. Combine the basil and garlic in a food processor (I used NutriBullet.) Blend for about 5 seconds.
2. Add a little olive oil to mix then blend again for 5 seconds.  Do this until all olive oil is added.
3. Transfer pesto to serving bowl and season with pepper.  Stir in cheese. ENJOY!
